It may look like a shack, but Scotchies earns sky-high ratings for its jerk chicken and pork, yams, and fish grilled right out back. Scotch bonnet sauce is the sacred condiment; it's hot enough to make your eyes water, but another Red Stripe is always seconds away (876/794-9457, chicken $2.75).

MoBay's Gloucester Avenue, known as Hip Strip, is lined with bars and dance clubs, the best of which is Bluebeat Jazz & Martini Bar, where live jazz is served nightly alongside decadent Brown Sugar martinis: Smirnoff, Baileys, and creamy Godiva chocolate (876/952-4777, $10).
