Girlfriend Getaways With Shopping Perks, From $137

Hotels in Oregon and Tennessee offer perks like gift certificates to Saks Fifth Avenue.

Nashville, Tenn., from $137 per room per night
The Shut Up and Shop package includes one night at the boutique Hotel Preston, parking, shuttle service to Opry Mills shopping center, a $50 gift certificate to spend at any store in the mall, and a savings book with coupons for the mall. Guests will also receive a 20 percent discount at the mall's oxygen bar Oxynate, which offers oxygen aromatherapy, head and scalp massages, and energy drinks. There are also some eclectic perks available in your room or at your request upon check-in, including high-thread-count duvets and linens, a pet fish, a pillow menu, a spiritual menu (a collection of religious texts that can be ordered through room service), a lava lamp, a rubber duckie, and milk and cookies. While this is an airport hotel (there's also a free shuttle to the airport), it's no more than five minutes by car to most major Nashville attractions. Rates start at $137 per room per night. When Through May 30, 2009. Details Based on single or double occupancy. Breakfast is not included. Taxes are an additional 15.25 percent. Contact 866/986-8089, hotelpreston.com.

Portland, Ore., from $385 per room per night
The newly opened Nines is offering a wide selection of affordably priced packages (ostensibly to celebrate its recent addition to the Luxury Collection of Starwood Hotels). We like the one called A Shopping Affair, which includes a one-night stay, breakfast for two daily, valet parking, and a $100 gift card for Saks Fifth Avenue. The Nines occupies the top nine stories (which explains the hotel's name) of the historic landmark Meier & Frank building, next to Portland's Pioneer Square and a MAX Light Rail station. The Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, Tom McCall Waterfront Park, Portland Art Museum, Powell's Bookstore, Keller Auditorium, PGE Park, Rose Quarter, and the Chinese Garden are all within a mile of the hotel. The 331 rooms are decorated with artworks by local artists and have plush bedding and 42-inch HD televisions. Rates start at $385 per room per night. When Through Dec. 31, 2009. Details Based on double occupancy; solo travelers deduct $13. Taxes are an additional 12.5 percent. Contact 503/222-9996, thenines.com.
